Conflict Minerals Commitment

Conflict Minerals Commitment

HCMF Group is committed to establishing a responsible and transparent supply chain management system and supports the global automotive industry’s efforts to address and improve the governance of conflict minerals. We are committed to avoiding the use of minerals originating from conflict-affected or high-risk areas in our products and manufacturing processes that may finance armed conflicts or contribute to human rights violations.

Conflict minerals generally refer to minerals originating from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and its neighboring countries, including Tin, Tantalum, Tungsten, and Gold, collectively known as 3TG. The mining and trading of these minerals may be associated with armed conflict, forced labor, and human rights abuses. HCMF Group recognizes the importance of supply chain management and is committed to ensuring that the minerals used in our products are sourced in accordance with responsible procurement principles.

HCMF Group Commitment

1. Establish Responsible Sourcing Mechanisms

Establish a conflict minerals management system in accordance with international standards to ensure that procurement activities within our supply chain follow responsible mineral sourcing principles.

We support the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Mineral Supply Chains and will establish responsible mineral sourcing and supply chain management mechanisms accordingly.

2. Compliance with International Regulations

We comply with the disclosure requirements for conflict minerals under Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act and other applicable international and local regulations.

3. Supply Chain Due Diligence

We will continuously conduct reasonable due diligence and risk assessments across our supply chain to identify the sources of 3TG minerals and require our suppliers to provide relevant documentation and declarations.

4. Supplier Management and Cooperation

We require our suppliers to follow the same principles and encourage them to adopt the standards and tools developed by the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) to ensure that mineral sources meet responsible sourcing requirements.

5. Continuous Improvement and Transparency

We will continue to enhance supply chain transparency and collaborate with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders to promote responsible mineral sourcing and sustainable supply chain management.

HCMF Group will continue to work closely with customers, suppliers, and industry organizations to strengthen our conflict minerals management system, ensuring that our product supply chain complies with international responsible sourcing principles and contributes to the protection of human rights, health, and the environment in mineral-producing regions.
